The leaves are changing colors.  Football has become a weekend staple.  Pumpkins are seemingly everywhere.  It is that time of year again, fall is upon us and with that comes the chance to have some frightening fun.  You see offers of great scary gadgets all over the place, but which ones are a treat, and which are just a trick to have you shell out your hard-earned cash?  Here you will find a list of five spooktacular gadgets designed to give you the shivers.

1. USB Hub Monster

2.  Eliminator 700 Fog Machine
A fog machine is fast becoming a must have for any self-respecting ghoul.  The Eliminator 700 is bound to do the trick nicely.  It has a 700-watt heater, a 10 foot wired remote, and even comes with a free quart of fog juice.  It’s bound to creep out your Halloween party-goers or any goblins coming to your door for a treat.  You can find this one on sale for just $49.95. 3. “The Ex” 5-piece Knife Set
Okay, this one just kind of creeps me out.  The Ex knife set has five heavy-duty stainless steel knives sticking out of a voo-doo type figure.  At least it should serve as a pretty powerful warning for your current partner not to tick you off.  Knives included in the set are a 8-inch chef’s knife, 8-inch bread knife, 8-inch carver, 5-inch utility, and 3-1/2-inch parer.  For those desiring a more gory look to decorate their counter, you can also choose the set in red.  The sale price at amazon is $69.95 with free shipping.  Image Source: amazon

4.  The Liquid-Spilling Lamp
Now, maybe the designers of this lamp weren’t really going for the look of spilling blood since they also offer a red version spilling white, but intent there or not they have that effect.  The liquid-spilling lamp comes in two varieties, the wall or desktop mount.  The desktop lamp is kind of cool in that the lampshade appears to just be hanging midair.  Since each of these is supposedly handmade, they are also rather pricey (about $230).  They also come from Japan, so finding a site that sells them that you can read can be a tad difficult as well.  Still rather interesting to check out nonetheless.  Image Source: caina

5. The Living Dead Doll Sadie Pencil Sharpener
And for the truly twisted, we have the Living Dead Doll Sadie pencil sharpener.  Because there is nothing quite like shoving a pencil in an eye socket and watching the doll face “vomit” out the shavings.  Although it is sold out right now, it runs about $7.  I’d say ‘keep an eye out” for it, but that somehow seems too macabre with the subject at hand.  Image Source: gundamstoreandmore
